A leading development program for aspiring footballers with a real pathway to success
A leading development program for aspiring footballers with a real pathway to success
Over the last 4 years, JBFC has provided young aspiring footballers from all over Australia the opportunity to achieve their dreams of playing professional football. Through our partnerships with various clubs across the world, together with our partner recruitment agents, 27 players have been sent to clubs from UK to Iceland, Dubai to New Zealand, and 24 have made their professional or semi-professional debut, with 13 having signed professional contracts.
JBFC provides identified players UEFA standard training as additional training to their normal regime. This allows players to have a platform to further develop their skills. If selected after their program blocks, players may be provided the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of coaches and recruitment staff at one of our partner clubs and programs across the world.
With players from JBFC now having made their debuts for their country at International Level, the program and pathway is proven, and we are looking forward to the next chapter of our progression.
JBFC does not believe that players should have to pay to be scouted or identified. Hence, if you are scouted, and if you are identified, THE TRAINING PROVIDED BY OUR HEAD COACH IS FREE*.
If you are good enough to have been scouted, then you shouldn't have to pay anything to have your talent nurtured.
Training programs vary on your level of commitment and desire to succeed. Players who aspire to move into the professional game can have anything from 3 - 12 hours a week training which can help ready you for potential opportunities both here and overseas.
Whilst working with JBFC, you may be provided the opportunity to pursue opportunities outside of Australia. These are typically professional pathway programs that may incur an initial charge, that JBFC has no control over.
(*a nominal fee is requested to cover field hire and payment of assistant coaching staff. This is included in the fee structure)
JBFC will as much as possible follow the principles and objectives of the UEFA standards. The programs provided will align with the UEFA and FIFA playing philosophy and style of play, focusing on the key objectives of Technical, Tactical, Physiological and Psychological when both in and out of possession and when in both transition moments (attacking and defending).
The training provided will allow players to develop holistically as a player. Focus will not be on one specific area, but the wider attributes required to ultimately allow a player the best opportunity to progress as far as they can in the game.
A number of players have graduated from JBFC to become either semi-professional and professional players. From players who have travelled to the UK, to players in Dubai, to players now plying their trade in Europe and the UK, the success of the program over the last period of time is there to see.

The selection process to become a part of JBFC is as you would expect for the potential review of overseas clubs. It's intense. You would be identified and selected through a rigorous Talent Identification Program, which is governed by the principles and objectives set out through the Talent ID Process of the English FA (in which JBFC is fully qualified and certified).
JBFC will monitor players at all levels throughout their training sessions, games and friendlies with the players' clubs, and determine those who may have the potential to progress.
You will be provided with the opportunity to work with JBFC and throughout the program, you will be monitored closely, and feedback will be provided back to both your club (if so desired) to determine your progress.
Obviously, there are no promises or guarantees – however, players who are fortunate to have been selected have impressed JBFC sufficiently to determine that you may have the ability to progress further in the game.
JBFC will also look to hold Talent Identification Camps, some of which may be attended by overseas clubs. If a player is selected in this manner, then the player will have the support of JBFC to pursue whatever the next stage may be.
Our first camp was held in January 2021, and since that time we have held 3 others. These camps have provided multiple players opportunities to progress to the next stage of their football journey, with 17 players currently playing overseas.
