Shay Boyle

Shay Boyle is a naturally left-footed midfielder/defender recognised for his communication, vision, and outstanding passing range.


 A product of Fleetwood Town and Port Vale, Shay began his academy journey at Fleetwood Town at 16 before making his professional debut at 18 with Cefn Druids in the Cymru Premier League.


Renowned for his composure under pressure and intelligent decision-making, Shay became the first JBFC player to progress into professional football. Shortly after, he signed with Port Vale, where his work ethic, resilience, and tactical awareness continued to develop within England’s highly competitive environment, providing a strong platform for his career progression.


Ahead of the 2024/25 season, Shay signed with Gulf United FC, a rising club in the UAE. He quickly established himself as a key figure across midfield and defence, earning recognition for his leadership, tenacity, tactical intelligence, and ability to control games — attributes that led to the nickname “Scrappy.” 

Shay played an important role in Gulf United’s promotion during the 2024/25 season.


Following that success, Shay returned to the UK and is currently part of the Macclesfield FC U23 setup, where he is focused on progressing into the first-team environment.

James "JB" Bulkeley

James “JB” Bulkeley is a New Zealand–born central defender, recognised for his composure on the ball, leadership qualities, and defensive intelligence.

He began his youth career in Australia with Stanmore Hawks, Mounties Wanderers, and Hakoah Sydney City East, before making his professional debut in 2023 with Fleetwood United FC. JB played a key role in the club’s successful campaign, helping secure the UAE Second Division League title.

In 2024, he joined Gulf United FC in the UAE First Division League, where he made 20 appearances, scored one goal, and accumulated nearly 1,700 minutes of competitive football.

In January 2025, JB signed with North Texas SC, the MLS Next Pro affiliate of FC Dallas, continuing his progression within a high-performance professional environment.

At international level, JB has represented New Zealand U19, playing a pivotal role in their 2024 OFC Championship triumph and scoring in the final to secure qualification for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He later made his FIFA U-20 World Cup debut for the New Zealand U20 in September — a significant milestone in his international career.

Drew Sammut

Bayden Irwin-DÁmico

 Drew Sammut is a commanding centre-back of Maltese and Scottish heritage who began his football development with JBFC at the age of 14.

He made his Australia Cup debut at just 16 with Nepean FC, featuring against Kellyville Colts and showcasing his defensive maturity and potential at an early stage.

After progressing through the Australian system, Drew moved to England to join the 433 Football Academy, where he further developed his tactical understanding, physical presence, and overall defensive game.

At 18, Drew signed with Edinburgh City, competing in Scottish League Two, and went on to become a key figure in their defensive unit during the 2024/25 season. He has since returned to Australia and will represent Launceston City for the 2026 season.

At international level, Drew has represented Malta U19, featuring in UEFA European Championship qualifiers and gaining valuable experience against strong European opposition.

Known for his excellent positional awareness, aerial dominance, and calmness under pressure, Drew is a composed defender who reads the game intelligently and anticipates danger effectively. His physicality, strong tackling, and confidence in distribution allow him to lead a defensive line and contribute positively to build-up play from the back.

Bayden Irwin-DÁmico

Bayden Irwin-D’Amico is an Australian goalkeeper whose football journey really began under the guidance of coaches Chas Smashonga and James Boyle. 


Their mentorship helped shape his development, eventually leading him to the Fleetwood Town International Academy. 


After impressing there, he earned a trial with Fleetwood United, their sister club in the UAE, which opened the door to his signing with Gulf United in 2023.


In the 2024/25 season, Bayden played a key role in Gulf United’s promotion campaign. He played 2,610 minutes, kept eight clean sheets in 29 appearances, and was instrumental in the team’s success. 


His performances earned him both the Players’ Player and Coaches’ Player of the Year awards, marking a standout season in his young career.

Leo Latter is a talented and technically gifted centre-back who first joined JBFC from St George City. From his earliest sessions, it was clear that Leo possessed a rare blend of composure, football intelligence, and ability on the ball — standing out within just three months. 


Recognising his potential, he was sent to the 433 Football Academy in the UK, where his development accelerated as he adapted to the demands of the European game.


While at 433, Leo impressed in trials at several clubs, most notably Port Vale, before going on to sign with both Harrogate Town and Sandbach United. During the 2024/25 season, he played a pivotal role in helping 433 secure a league and cup double, further underlining his potential. 


Now, with growing interest from a number of National League clubs this summer, Leo’s calm presence at the back, technical quality, and ability to play out under pressure continue to set him apart as one to watch.

Casey Myers

Casey Myers is powerful right-back known for his strength, accurate passing, and sharp decision-making, Casey began making serious strides in his career at just 16 when he moved to the UK to join the Fleetwood Town International Academy. 


There, he immersed himself in a professional training environment, which led to a trial at 18 with Fleetwood United, the club’s UAE-based sister side.


 After gaining valuable international experience, Casey returned to Australia and committed himself to intense training with JBFC, where he further elevated his physical and technical attributes.


While in Australia, Casey became a central figure for NPL3 side Hawkesbury Hawks, regularly playing in both midfield and defensive roles. 


His continued progression saw him return to the UK, where he joined Harrogate Town and featured in a high-profile friendly against Leeds United. In the 2024/25 season, he also played a key role in 433 Academy’s successful campaign, helping the team secure a league and cup double.


Although a recent injury postponed his planned move to Portugal, Casey is expected to resume his journey abroad once fully fit, with his development and work ethic pointing to a bright future in the game.

Lucas Rapattoni

Lucas Rappatoni is an Italian-Australian centre half whose youth career began with Marconi Stallions and Mounties Wanderers in Australia. 


Known as a tough, gritty, no-nonsense defender, Lucas developed his defensive skills early on before moving to England at 17 to join the 433 Academy, where he further refined his game.


 At 18, he signed his first professional contract with Finnish club TPS Jalkapallo Miehet, gaining valuable first-team experienced his first season in the professional game.


 Following his time in Finland, Lucas moved to Italy, where he played in both Serie D and Serie C over the past two seasons. Standing out for his physical strength and aerial dominance. 


 Lucas is a commanding presence in defence who excels at reading the game and making crucial interceptions. His no-nonsense style means he’s reliable under pressure, often clearing danger decisively, while his composure on the ball allows him to initiate attacks from the back. 


With strong tackling, good positional awareness, and leadership qualities, Lucas continues to build a solid professional career across international leagues.

 Jayden was only with JBFC for a short period before being recommended to attend Fleetwood Town International Football Academy in the UK, where under the watchful eye and quality coaching from Michael Horsfall Danny Hastings and the rest of the coaching staff, he flourished and grew as a player. 


After spending 4 months in the UK, Jayden went to Dubai to have an opportunity to be seen by Fleetwood United, where once again he impressed. 


Jayden eventually signed for Fleetwood united in the 22/23 season providing crucial goals and assist during his time with the Dubai cods. 


Upon returning to Australia Jayden signed for Macarthur rams in there mens NPL2 side, hoping to progress through the Australian game.

Riki Sheather is a strong and powerful centre-back who began his football journey at JBFC at just 15. 


He progressed through the Australian NPL youth systems, developing his defensive skills and tactical awareness before signing with Prospect’s first team at 17. 


Demonstrating maturity and physical dominance for his age, Riki took a major step in his career by joining Gulf United during the January transfer window of the 2024/25 season.


 His impact was immediate, contributing two important goals and playing a vital role in the club’s promotion-winning campaign. 


Known for his commanding presence, excellent aerial ability, and tough tackling, Riki is a formidable defender who leads from the back with confidence and composure.


 His performances earned him selection in a Gulf United XI that faced off against the Socceroos at the end of the season. With his blend of strength, positional intelligence, and determination, Riki is a rising defensive talent with a promising future ahead.

Anthony Mylonas

Anthony Mylonas is a talented Australian goalkeeper who began his journey with JBFC at the age of 16. He was part of the academy’s 2022 tour group to Fleetwood Town in England, where he gained early experience in a professional setting. 


Upon returning to Australia, Anthony continued his development in the NPL youth system with Bankstown City, where he refined his goalkeeping fundamentals, including shot-stopping, positioning, and distribution.


 Seeking to break into the professional scene, he travelled to Dubai to trial with Fleetwood United. Although a contract didn’t come through at the time, his potential caught the attention of James Ward.


Two years later, Anthony’s persistence was rewarded when he signed his first professional contract with Gulf United for the 2024/25 season. As a goalkeeper, he served as the backup to Bayden Irwin-D’Amico and played an important role in supporting the squad during Gulf United’s successful promotion-winning campaign under Ward’s leadership. 


Known for his strong reflexes, composed handling, and professional attitude, Anthony has shown the dedication and resilience required to succeed at the next level and continues to grow within a competitive, high-performance environment.
