Macclesfield FC International Football Group
James Laurence Football Pathway (JLFP) is proudly partnered with Macclesfield FC and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) to provide a genuine pathway for international student-athletes to succeed both on and off the field.
The JLFP International Academy is open to male and female players who demonstrate the right mindset, commitment, and desire to develop their football while completing recognised academic study in the UK. Student-athletes undertake the Pearson BTEC Level 3 in Sport Coaching and Development, a nationally recognised qualification designed to prepare learners for employment across the sport and active leisure sector through applied, real-world learning.
The academic programme is fully integrated with a full-time football environment, including daily training delivered by Macclesfield FC coaches and competitive fixtures across recognised leagues and competitions.
High-performing players may also be given the opportunity to train regularly with the Macclesfield FC senior squad, providing exposure to a professional first-team environment and clear progression opportunities.
This partnership offers JLFP players a structured, transparent pathway combining education, elite football development, and professional exposure within the UK system.

Gulf United ( Dubai ) - Residential/ Under 21s Programs
Residential Program "B" team-
Gulf United FC’s Residential Program/ "B" team in Dubai offers young footballers aged 18–23 the chance to live and train full-time in a professional environment. Players can choose between a full season, half season, or one-month stay depending on their development goals. The program includes elite coaching, regular competitive matches in a professional league (UAE Second Division), and exposure to other professional clubs with a view toward earning a first-team contract. This immersive experience is ideal for aspiring players looking to break into the professional ranks.
Under-21s Program -
The Gulf United Under-21s Programme is a key component of the club’s player development pathway. Competing in the UAE Pro League U21 division, players gain valuable experience against top-level opposition. The program includes structured tactical and technical training sessions, physical development plans, and performance analysis. Players are mentored closely by first-team and "B" team coaches, and standout performers are regularly invited to train with the senior squads. The competitive environment and clear progression pathway make the U21 setup a direct route toward earning a first-team or "B" team opportunity.
Pathway to First Team -
Gulf United FC emphasizes a clear and proven pathway from youth development to first-team football. Through professional coaching, regular match play, and individual performance monitoring, players are fully supported in reaching their potential. The club has successfully promoted talent from within, with Anthony and Riki earning first-team contracts through their performances in the U21s and "B" team. Meanwhile, Bayden, James, and Shay entered the club with first-team contracts and continue to contribute at the senior level, showcasing the club’s dedication to developing and integrating young talent.

UAE Football Network – Connecting Players to Opportunities
The UAE Football Network, founded by professional footballer Ben Pringle, serves as a dynamic platform bridging aspiring footballers with playing opportunities in the United Arab Emirates.
Leveraging his extensive experience and network within the UAE football scene, Pringle offers a range of services designed to facilitate player transitions into the region's football landscape. This includes organizing training sessions, match events, and providing direct connections with UAE clubs.
A notable initiative of the network is the UAE Football Week, an event where players can showcase their talents in front of UAE club representatives. For instance, in July 2025, the network hosted a training and match event in Manchester, UK, aimed at players aspiring to play in Dubai. Such events not only offer exposure but also valuable insights into the UAE football environment.
