Shay returned to Fleetwood after having to come back owing to Covid-19. He went back in May 2021 and is seen here playing against the Fleetwood Reserve Team. Shay has already caught the eye of his National team scouts and is one to keep a look out for.
Shay has since made his professional debut for Welsh Premier League club, Cefn Druids and spent last season with Port Vale Academy and has now 2 English League clubs chasing his signature. A player to watch.
CJ attended the January 2021 ID event and it was evident that the potential was there. After working through the Elite Program with JBFC, CJ was accepted onto the FTIFA Professional Experience Program and flew out in June 2021.
CJ returned to Australia in January 2022 and has now signed a semi--professional contract in Australia with an NPL club.
Jimmy flies out later this month and will be the 2nd player selected from the Talent ID event held in January 2021. A strong strapping attacking midfielder, Jimmy, much like Shay, has had overseas experiences - and this helped him understand what was needed to allow him to be identified and selected for the FTIFA Pro Ex Program. Jimmy arrives as the 2nd Talent ID selection from JBFC.
Jimmy returned in January 2022 after making appearances for Fleetwood Town U18's in their FA Cup ties. He is now under the eye of Fleetwood Town for the next 18 months to monitor his progress, with the plan for him to return to the UK when he is 18.
Jarrod started with the program in January 2021 and was one of the first players selected to be a part of the squad. Fast forward 18 months and Jarred has now signed on at Lakeland United in the UPSL Premier League in the United States.
He started at Hawksbury Hawks - so it's a long way from the north-west of Sydney to playing in Florida.
Jarred got there by putting in hard work and effort at all the sessions he attended.
Jarrod joined the JBFC program in March 22, although was known to myself before. After spending 6 months in the UK, it became apparent he had something and after speaking with Fleetwood United, Jarrod attended a 1 month assessment in Dubai.
After 2 weeks, he sustained an ankle injury, but the club had seen enough to know Jarrod had something about him.
Jarrod has now signed with Fleetwood United until the end of the season and has secured the number 2 shirt.
Jarrod played with both Hills United and Apia Leichhardt whilst here, but has now moved into the professional game with his first pro contract.
An attack minded right sided full back, Jarrod’s pace and tenacity will see him in a good light against the players in the Emirati league.
We at JBFC wish Jarrod well and look forward to seeing him on the field in Dubai.
Jayden was only with JBFC for a short period before being recommended to attend Fleetwood Town International Football Academy in the UK, where under the watchful eye and quality coaching from Michael Horsfall Danny Hastings and the rest of the brilliant coaching staff, he flourished and grew as a player.
After spending 4 months in the UK, Jayden went to Dubai to have an opportunity to be seen by Fleetwood United, where once again he impressed.
Jayden will be signing until the end of the season, and has a real opportunity to improve and impress further.
A talented attacking midfielder, with a lovely left foot, Jayden will break down defences and create many opportunities for the boys.
Congratulations to Jayden and we look forward to following your progress.
Blair was player number 2 of JBFC where he attended Fleetwood Town International Football Academy in 2020 before the dreaded Covid pandemic, working with once again the brilliant Michael Horsfall and Nathan Rooney.
Blair returned to Fleetwood after things calmed down and made an impact both in FTIFA and at Olympic and continued to work with my sister company, Pro Football Pathway where we aligned him with our partners both here in Australia and in the UK.
Blair is a quick nimble 2 footed striker with an eye for goal and pace to burn, and after returning from a quick spell in Italy, he went to work with our colleague in the UK for 6 weeks.
The output from this is that Blair has today flown out to the UK to sign with Chorley FC in the English National League - Step 2 of the English Pyramid.
JB as he is known started working with me as an U13 at Stanmore Hawks and it was evident then he was a classy player. .
Fast forward to May 2022 and JB joined the program and looked as classy as ever.
We sent him to Fleetwood in Dubai for a months assessment and after 6 days, the reports coming back were excellent. He even played for the Fleetwood United first team whilst he was there !! The term “a Rolls Royce of a player” was banded about - so much so that the gaffer in Dubai contacted Fleetwood Town FC CEO Steve Curwood about him.
JB has now signed a professional contract with Fleetwood United for the 2023/24 season. We look forward to watching his progress.
